The Idol - Based on the life of Mohammed Assaf (played by Tawfeek Barhom), a talented wedding singer who grew up in a refugee camp in Gaza and travels to Egypt to accomplish his impossible dream of auditioning for and ultimately winning the ‘Arab Idol’.
