INTERFAITH SERVICE
On the second Sunday of the month - every two months at 5pm we hold an interfaith service at our Rawtenstall Unitarian Church. People from a number of religious traditions come together to discuss issues around a particular theme and share perspective with others.
We invite people of all faiths & philosophies to bring readings, songs and other materials from their own traditions and share them in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Although, the interfaith service already has a solid following from diverse faiths, we are still growing and becoming a model for showcasing how people can pray, discuss serious issues and socialise together.
Some of the themes of the interfaith services have been/ will be:
-
Hospitality to the stranger
-
Religious law and the law of the land
-
Religion and poverty
-
Place of animals in religions
-
How different faiths deal with forgiveness?
We welcome everyone! So come and join our discussion and learn from each other in how to deal with important issue. Enjoy a shared meal afterwards and continue friendly discussion with those from different religious beliefs.
